Several color plates featuring illustrations by David Brian Erickson. Binding is tight, sturdy, and square; minor wear to edges of blue cloth boards, gilt titling remains bright and bold; illustrations and text also very good. Minor wear to edges of unclipped dust jacket; jacket arrives wrapped in protective mylar. Ships same or next business day from Dinkytown in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

First edition thus, hardcover, signed by Lafferty on second endpage above publisher's design, "Review Copy" is written in ink above title on half-title page and a letter from the publisher is laid in. The book has a faint skew to the binding, very slight bumps to spine ends and upper cover corners, and a very small spot near head of fore edge of about 40 pages of text block, otherwise a solid, tight VG+ copy in VG dust jacket, which has very slight bumps to spine ends and corners with a short creased tear at base of front hinge, a touch of edgewear, and some rubbing with a couple very small smudges.
