Bright, clean, square covers and spine; slight rubbing wear at spine ends; tightly bound; clean interior with slight general age darkening; leaves remain supple. DJ is lightly scuffed; thin 1 inch scrape at front cover fore edge; 1 inch closed tear at front cover top edge; 2 inch closed tear at rear cover/spine tail joint; both tears have been neatly repaired on inner face with archival paper. 8vo, 123 pp; illustrated.

First Edition, Third Printing. Illustrated by Marilyn Fitschen. Beautiful red cloth covered boards with gilt and black embossed decorations to front cover and spine. Pages are clean; previous owner's signature to half-title page; small tear and hole punch to lower edge of last free endpaper. Text block is soiled; top edge of text block and endpages are foxed. Boards are clean with moderate wear to extremities; sunning to top edge; ends of spine are bumped and rubbed. Binding is tight; spine slightly cocked. Dust jacket is clean but tanned with light wear to extremities; closed tear to back cover. Flaps are tanned with top corner cut and bottom corner folded at front flap. Dust jacket is covered in a protective mylar jacket.
