This is limited, numbered edition, numbered, 456, on the copyright/limitation page. The book itself is in lovely condition. The dust jacket is lightly bumped around the edges, and it has creasing around the bottom left corner of the front cover. There is water damage to the bottom inch and half of the front of the dust jacket and both flaps.

The novel takes place in L.A. in 2179 where the police are androids brewed in vats, and Thomas, a wanted runaway monk, joins a theater group putting on a stage production of Shakespeares As You Like It, but the production is a cover for a covert resistance force planning to take over the city and institute a new government. One of 200 numbered copies signed by Powers. Handbound in red Japanese silk with the theater Comedy/Tragedy Mask hand-stamped in silver foil on front board. A fine copy.
