Welcome to the Great Science-Fiction & Fantasy Works web site!
You have apparently come to this page from a link on a search engine or another site. If this is your first visit here, I much recommend that you take a few minutes to look over the introductory material accessible via the red “Introductory” zone of the Site Menu available from the “hamburger” icon in the upper right of this (and every) page. An understanding of the purposes and principles of organization of this site will, I hope and believe, much augment your experience here, for this page and in general. You can simply click this link to get at the site front page, which, unsurprisingly, is the best place to start. Thank you for visiting.Below are all 1 responses from AbeBooks:
First editions. Vol. I, one of 128 copies; vol. II, one of 92 copies; vols. III, IV, V, each one of 80 copies. 8vo., 5 volumes, vols I-III in sewn wrappers, vols IV-V in hand bound in cloth with letterpress labels. Fine copies. Complete set of the Pegana Press series of finely printed Lost Tales of Lord Dunsany, assembling previously uncollected work from the pen of the author of The King of Elfland's Daughter, The Gods of Pegana, and other classics of twentieth century fantasy. Volume I includes an introduction by Michael Swanwick. Vol. II, The Emperor's Crystal & Other Lost Tales, includes an introduction by Darrell Schweitzer and reproduces a line drawing by Dunsany as frontispiece. Vol. III has a frontispiece after a drawing by S. H. Sime. Volume IV has an introduction by Douglas A. Anderson and a frontispiece after Sime. Volume V has a frontispiece by Amelia Royce Leonards. These books are beautifully produced and present significant short work by Dunsany which is otherwise fugitive or unavailable. An important series.
