First Tartarus edition. Originally published by Gollancz in 1980. Introduction by Reggie Oliver. Limited to 350 copies. On this copy the lettering on the spine is upside down - not sure if all the copies were like this. The book is otherwise near Fine with only a light stain to the bottom edges of the pages. The jacket has light edge rubbing and a one inch white-ish patch on the right side of the rear panel. Jacket illustration by Stephen J. Clark. First printing of this edition.

Clark. 338 pp. The first Tartarus printing was issued in 2012 and was limited to 350 copies; this is the second Tartarus Press Edition issued later the same year as the initial printing sold out rapidly. This second Tartarus printing adds the short story 'The Strangers' not included in the earlier Tartarus edition, enlarging the book from 278 pp to 338 pp. A fine copy in a fine dust jacket, price corner intact. Collects seven fantastic & supernatural stories. Originally published by Gollancz in 1980, this edition has a New Introduction by Reggie Oliver.
