1928. No Edition Remarks. 111 pages. Brown dust jacket over grey paper covered boards with red cloth to spine. Colour illustrated frontispiece. Binding remains firm. Pages have light tanning and foxing throughout. Heavier to endpapers and pastedowns. Boards have light shelf-wear with corner bumping. Slight crushing to spine ends. Wear marks overall. Unclipped jacket has moderate edgewear with chips, tears, and creasing. Light tanning to spine and edges. Water staining to spine. Wear marks overall.

Top portion of boards a bit darkened. Red cloth spine with couple minor chips to spine top and bottom, gold printing on spine bright. Color frontispiece illustration by the author. Light foxing to first few pages front and back. Small binding flaw inside rear paste down where paper should have overlapped the board margin upper top right corner. Otherwise book is clean, complete, and tight. 113 pp.

Red cloth w/ gilt lettering, paper boards, frontis. Corners and spine are bumped and somewhat frayed. with a two-inch long tear from the head of the spine. A few minor dampstains and smudges on covers. Very light pencilled notes and foxing throughout, pages and endpapers are browned from missing jacket possibly. Still a very good looking volume.

1st edition hardback in jacket. Book in VG+ condition, jacket has had the spine of the jacket repaired and replaced. Not a book club edition, ex library or a remainder. Scans available on request.

Poor copy in the original quarter cloth over paper boards; wear and tear as with age. Text remains in fine condition and without blemish. Includes bookplates of previous owners, unnamed. First edition, first printing. 113pp. Grey boards with a red cloth spine. Plain dustjacket with a very little wear to the corners and the ends of the spine. Colour frontispiece illustration. Internally very clean. The story of Thia and her husband Thol who slays the dragon, and their people in the year 39,000 BC.

Lettering is a little faded on the spine. Coloured frontispiece.

Condition: Good+. No DJ. Quarter red fabric over tan paper boards. Gilt lettering to spine. Overall minor wear and soiling to extremities. Joints beginning to crack. Binding solid and true. Pages show some toning, but otherwise clean and clear. Color frontispiece. 112 pages.

113pp, colour frontis. DW is browned with some edge wear. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall

8vo. 112pp. Bound in plain paper covered boards with red cloth spine with gilt lettering. With plain grey unclipped dust jacket with red lettering. Illustrated with colour frontispiece by Max Beerbohn. Boards are in excellent condition; dust jackets does have two tears about 2cm long and also a little frayed. Inside there are two book plates; Ex libris plate of C.H.L.Bledisloe which is on the verso of the front cover. (Christopher Bathurst, 3rd Viscount Bledisloe (1934-2009), Barrister and politician. The bookplate is designed by his son Rupert Bathhurst); The other for a L.P.Jameson Evans. A very good copy. The story is based where Hay Hill is now in Mayfair London but a few thousand years prior to any major settlement and just a few settlers living together, the dragon forming a bond between them .
