Bookseller's stamp to title page, half title page and rear endpapers. Pages are moderately tanned and foxed throughout, heavier in places. Hinges are cracked with exposed netting. Binding is weakened. Water staining to some pages. Boards have heavy edge-wear with bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. Gilt lettering is darkened. Book has a slight forward lean.
