First American edition in yellow illustrated paper over blue cloth quarter boards, cover and spine decorated and titled in black and white on yellow paper, rear paper in yellow. G. P. Putnam's Sons; New York, 1926, 199 pps. Good reading copy - Boards show wear and spotting, paper spine label chipped, corners gone, hinge cracked.

First edition, first printing. Dust Jacket missing. Shelf and handling wear to cover and binding, with general signs of previous use. Secure packaging for safe delivery. 1

American edition, with English sheets, stated second printing in 1925, same year as first. Very clean, tight, no marks or damage, endpapers quite aged but contents very nice. Touch of wear at top and bottom of spine, no fraying, tips sharp. Previous owner's name on front endpaper.

A little worn at the edges where the paper binding has become fragile due to age.The half title is also slightly spotted, but overall a good copy of an interesting work. New York & London: G.P. Putnam's Sons, 1926. The Anglo-Irish writer, Edward Plunkett ,18th Baron of Dunsany, was a prolific author who is noted for his works of fantasy. This is a Very Good (Minus) copy of the First Edition. Contains "Alexander," "The Old King's Tale," "The Evil Kettle," and "The Amusements of Khan Kharuda. Light red paper-covered boards with a maroon cloth spine; titled in black on the front cover. Clean text; v, 199 pages. The FFEP has been removed and the rear free endpaper has a tear. Bumped and rubbed around the margins. A solid-enough copy, but no beauty. First Edition. Hard Cover. Very Good (Minus)/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.

Nice solid copy but former owner poenned his name on inside front cover. Limitedition #27/250. Dunsany wasd the chess champion of Ireland at one time.

The yellow jacket is very good with moderate edge wear and faint fading to the spine. Signed boldly on the front free endpaper by Dunsany.
