This is a shelf-worthy clean ex-library signed first edition. "First Edition: February 1992" and full printing line with "1" on its copyright page. Signed, with no personalization or inscription, on its title page by author Kate Wilhelm. Its dust jacket, now protected by a removable mylar cover, is in very good condition: whole and bright, with light wear on its spine ends, and a few faint smudges on its back, but otherwise unmarked and unworn. The book's only library markings are three non-obscuring library stamps (bottom of the title page, top of the text block, and bottom of the last page), faint tape ghosts on the outside top edge of its front and back covers, and neatly removed back endpaper. Its binding is sound, with slight lean, and no spine crease. Covers are lightly bumped on spine ends and bottom corners, but otherwise unmarked and unworn, with bright silver titles on its spine. Pages are unworn and otherwise unmarked. I will ship this book in a moisture proof zip-loc bag, padded in bubble wrap, inside a sturdy box to assure it reaches its new owner in the same condition as my description.
