Octavo. Pp.xiii, 268. First printing. Poet, science fiction and fantasy novelist, biographer, critic, theologian, Williams was one of the intellectual lights of Oxford in the 1930's and 1940's. With Tolkien and C.S. Lewis he was a member of the Inklings. A fine copy in cloth-backed boards, and dust jacket with only one flaw: remains of a small sticker on the front.
