1949. First Edition. 158 pages. Pink pictorial dust jacket over beige cloth. Pages are lightly tanned and thumbed at the edges, with light foxing. Binding has remained firm. Boards are a little rub worn, slight shelf wear to corners, spine and edges. Corners are a little bumped. Spine ends are mildly crushed. Light tanning to spine and edges. Light wear to unclipped dust jacket with tears, nicks and creases to spine, edge and corners. Light tanning to spine and edges.

1949. First Edition. 160 pages. Pictorial dust jacket over yellow cloth with bronze lettering. Contains black and white illustrations throughout by Carlotta Petrina. Book has a slight odour. Pages are bright and clear with light tanning and foxing to free endpapers and text block edges. Pencil inscription and stamp to front free endpaper, with a few small nicks and rub marks along text block edge. Boards have light shelf-wear with mild corner bumping and minor crushing to spine ends. Boards are slightly bowed. Light sunning to spine and edges. Unclipped jacket has light surface wear, with small tears, chips and creasing to spine ends, edges and corners. Light sunning to spine and edges. Stamp on front flap.

In a yellow cloth hardcover with gilt titles to spine. With an unclipped dust jacket with black titles to spine and black and white titles and an illustration to front. 160 pp. with a number of black and white drawings. The book is in good condition with very minor shelf-wear and light sunning to the extremities of the cover. The book is cocked. There is light offsetting and foxing to the feps and a few spots of foxing to the fore edge; otherwise the pages are clean and unmarked. The dust jacket is fair with quite heavy shelf-wear to the extremities with numerous chips, creases and tears including two .5" tears to the top of the back. It is lightly marked and the extremities, especially the spine, are sunned. There is a price stamp to the bottom of the front flap.
