"First Edition" on its copyright page, and 1st printing code "T5" (late January 1978) in bottom gutter of page 186. Inscribed on its front end paper, "For Scott -- With Best Wishes, George Alec Effinger". [Per previous owner, inscription is to Texas collector/dealer Scott Cupp.] This book is in very good+ condition, marred only by remainder spray on bottom of its text block, a thin light bump across top edge of its front cover, and some traces of wear on spine ends. Its binding is sound and square, with no spine crease. Covers are unmarked and otherwise unworn. Pages are unworn and otherwise unmarked. Its dust jacket, now protected by a removable mylar cover, is in near fine condition: whole, bright, and unmarked, with some very light wear at top of spine and top of front flap fold. I will ship this book in a moisture proof zip-loc bag, padded in bubble wrap, inside a sturdy box to assure it reaches its new owner in the same condition as my description.
