Sturdy, attractive, tightly bound hardcover copy in reprint state, having been issued first in 1962 in a stapled sheets format. Clean, if toned, minimal rubbing to extremities. Bound in two-tone, light blue cloth over boards, blue cloth-backed. Bright and shiny dust jacket, illustrated, moderately worn at spine, else front and rear panels quite fine, protected by a plastic coat. Fanciful illustrations by Charles Shields greatly augment this fine collection for juvenile audiences of some of the themes of fantasy and dragons for which Gardner came later to be known. 73 pp.Member, I.O.B.A., C.B.A., and adherent to the highest ethical standards.
