Welcome to the Great Science-Fiction & Fantasy Works web site!
You have apparently come to this page from a link on a search engine or another site. If this is your first visit here, I much recommend that you take a few minutes to look over the introductory material accessible via the red “Introductory” zone of the Site Menu available from the “hamburger” icon in the upper right of this (and every) page. An understanding of the purposes and principles of organization of this site will, I hope and believe, much augment your experience here, for this page and in general. You can simply click this link to get at the site front page, which, unsurprisingly, is the best place to start. Thank you for visiting.Below are all 3 responses from AbeBooks:
A rare signed copy (Priest's signature is on the front free endpaper). These stories have never before been collected in book form and date from 1963 to 1968 - Priest's earliest efforts. [Only four of the twelve had been published previously.] Each story is followed by Priest's own critique. CONTENTS: Introduction (on becoming a writer); Going Native, Stranglehold, Star Child, The Witch-Burners, Impasse, Nicholson's Repentances, Combined Operation, The Ostrich Seed, The Ersatz Wine, Conjugation, Chance, The Interrogator; Afterword. 166 pages. CONDITION: The book itself is bright, tight, square, unmarked, and likely unread, with no apparent shelf-wear. Its dustjacket - now in a clear mylar (removable) protective cover - is likewise uncompromised.

Collection of mostly previously uncollected sf short stories, written in the mid 1960's but not published till now: plus a lengthy 33 page introduction by the author. Each story has an afterword by the author, which includes a very honest appraisal of the stories strengths and (mostly) failings and why they were (often) rejected by the magazine publishers of the day. SIGNED AND DATED (Oct '08) BY THE AUTHOR AT TIME OF PUBLICATION. Fine copy in a fine dustjacket (as new).
