Immediate dispatch from Somerset. Nice older book in good condition. Pages in good condition. No notes or highlighting. See images. Fantastic book. About the book >.>.> To many admirers of the novels of Flann O'Brien and the brilliant journalism of Myles na Gopaleen, the real man Brian O'Nolan is something of a mystery. He delighted in hiding his real personality behind a host of pen-names, of which those are only the best known. Under another pen-name, Stephen Blakesley, he was literally a man of mysteries, authoring a series of pulp detective thriders. Discovering the facts about the real Brian O'Nolan has been for us something of a detective story. This book had its origins in an exhibition mounted in Dublin to mark the twentieth anniversary of Brian O'Nolan's death. Much of the pictorial material we collected had never been seen in public before, especially the material lent to us by Mrs O'Nolan and the O'Nolan family, and aroused great interest, even among those who had known O'Nolan well. To those pictures we have now added an account of his life, the first extended biography to be written.
