True first British printing with original unclipped jacket (16s). Fantasy and Time Stories. Jacket has faults - namely patchy edge/shelf wear, numerous small marks, patchy browning (including to spine), a few very small (approx. 2mms) tears, little creasing/rubbing to edges, a little patchy loss to top surface, minor pushing/rubbing to head/tail of spine, a little pushing/bumping to corners (which has resulted in tiny loss in a couple of places), a little patchy browning/odd spots of foxing/small marks to reverse (white side), little creasing/rubbing/browning/small marks/minor foxing to front/back inner flaps and is in only good condition. Boards are near fine (having been well protected by the jacket) with a hint of pushing to corners, the odd very small mark and a little pushing/rubbing/fading to head/tail of spine. Pages are generally clean and the binding is tight. Pages bit tanned. Odd small mark/(quite) heavy foxing to top edge of pages. Couple of creases to half-title page. Odd small mark/minor foxing to page edges and bottoms. End-papers tanned with the odd small mark. Very occasional small mark/spot of foxing to pages. No other faults. All books described honestly and accurately. Paypal accepted.

A smart first UK edition of this collection of science fiction and fantasy stories from American author Jack Finney. First UK edition. Uncommon as the UK first. A collection of ten short stories from Walter Braden "Jack" Finney, an American writer best known for his science fiction and thrillers. Finney's greatest success came with his science fiction novel Time and Again (1970) which involves time travel to the past, a theme he had experimented with previously in short stories. Containing a selection of his fantasy and time-based stories, including: Where the Cluetts Are, Prison Legend, Time has No Boundaries, The Coin Collector, and The Love Letter. In the original full cloth binding. Externally, excellent. Original unclipped dust wrapper is smart with light wear and sunning to the extremities. The odd small mark to the panels with a 1" closed tear to the head of the spine sympathetically repaired with tape to the internal side. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean throughout. Fine
