mass market paperback 207 pp. The cover shows that the book has been carefully read, but the spine has been slightly curled. There are no markings on the front and back cover, though it shows some curling to the lower corners. The colours are still bright which is not the usual condition this book is found in. Normally the yellows and browns have faded, but in this copy, they have not. It presents well and would make a great addition to any fantasy reader's collection. This is one of the celebrated and collectible Adult Fantasy Series published by Ballantine from 1969 to 1974 and is one of the more common titles. The story has an Arabian Nights theme and concerns the title character who is a djinn. The descriptions in the book are often cosmic, including the angel Azrael whose eyes are "seventy-thousand days' journey apart, the one from the other".
