Hardcover, with partial dust jacket. Yellow cloth over boards with black illustration and lettering. Blue dust jacket with black illustration and lettering(front portion only). Dated 1962 on copyright page. No date on title page. Stated first edition. Unpaginated. Good condition. Binding is strong and tight. The lightest rubbing to the corners and a touch of bumping at the foot of the spine. Cloth is a bright mustard yellow color and clean. Endpapers and page edges are foxed, but interior pages are clean and free of marks. Alternating blue and yellow illustrated pages. Dust jacket is in poor condition- the back half is entirely missing. The front has a large closed tear extending from the top corner and is suffering general wear. Please email with questions or to see any photos.

2nd Impression of First Edition. Pink binding, black title, with motif of Mary on front cover. The letters A to Z with a little story to explain each letter. Colour illustrations throughout. A very nice clean, straight book.

This stated FIRST edition from 1962 is inj near fine condition with clean interior pages and a gold cloth cover that has only one flaw- a tiny bump on the top right edge of the cover. The dust jacket is is excellent with very slight chipping on the spine edge and corners. The book contains a short episode one for each letter of the alphabet. Pictures available upon request.

Second impression, (53) pp., bound in red cloth with black illustration and pictorial dust jacket. Jacket is price clipped, is age toned and slightly rubbed at corners. Some foxing at upper edge, little spot on front board, corners board, head/tail spine and top of book has lost the red. But a form and very good copy with for each letter a page with text and a full page illustration in black on blue or orange (you may call it pink).20 x 16 cm.
