1991 edition, second impression, signed by Eloise Jarvis McGraw 8vo., blue cloth with gilt stamped titles to the spine yellow and brown pictorial endpapers, 303pp with numerous black and white illustrations together with original dust jacket. The book has been well protected by its dust jacket and the boards are clean and bright with only a very tiny bruise to the bottom fore edge corner of the lower board. Internally, the book is clean and bright with a few spots to the very top edge of the text block with the author's (Eloise Jarvis McGraw) signature to the title page. The dust jacket is very good plus with only a few dark dots on the back of the rear flap and some light creasing and minimal rubbing along the top edge. All in all a near fine book in a very good plus jacket. Another first-rate installment in the Oz series, lovingly carried-on in this example by mother and daughter Eloise McGraw and Lauren Wagner. 1963 1st edition. Clean and VG+ in a bright, price-clipped, VG dustjacket. Several small, minor chips along the jacket tips and one small closed tear along the jacket front fold. The date-of-publication, "1963", also written neatly in felt-tip across the spine of the jacket. Still though, a perfectly presentable and attractive copy. Octavo, 303 pgs. Nicely illustrated thruout by artist Dick Martin.

Octavo, 9.25 in. x 7 in., pp. 303. Illustrated with black and white ink drawings. Binding "A": Spine lettering is in "hand-lettered" style. Early copy because the key bibliographic point is that the dustjacket has photos and biographies of the authors instead of a listing of previous Oz books. (Bienvenue 142; Hanff 119-120). White cloth boards with full color printed illustration to front, spine, and back. White, black, and red title to front. Light rubbing to extremities. One bottom corner bumped, another lightly nudged. Yellow endpapers illustrated in brown. "$3.95" to front dustjacket flap, and photos of the authors to rear flap. Very light edgewear to dustjacket. Half inch closed tear to dustjacket's back bottom corner. Protected in mylar. A sharp copy in rare dustjacket.
