1970. Ace Science Fiction Special 58050. Cover price $0.95. 318 pages. Paperback covers very good, showing minor scuffing and very minor edgewear. Spine square and uncreased. Binding sound. Pages very lightly age-toned, clean and unmarked.

Paperback book in good condition. Externally is neat and clean but there is a split front and back at the bottom of the spine. Inside is a stamp from Ogre Books an American book shop and the first page has the top corner clipped.

Interior is tight, clean & text is unmarked. Prior owner's name ink stamped on ffep & initials marked on top page-edge in permanent ink. Mass market paperback has reading creases in spine but negligible shelf-wear. 21 short stories 1st published in SF magazines between 1960 to 1970 written by R.A. Lafferty, "the cranky old man from Tulsa." Stories about - * A man who found one day that he knew absolutely everyone in the world. *A race who kept their most ancient ancestors on shelves in the basements. * A speeded-up world where a man could earn and lose a dozen fortunes a night. * Friendly bearlike creature named "Snuffles" who said he was God . Copyright as a collection 1970. Individual stories copyrights between 1960 & 1970. This copy stated from ACE January, 1982 printing w/ full printline, indicates 1st Thus (probably with new cover illustration, artist not credited). ISBN-10 as above. No LCCN. MSR = $2.50.
