1952. Reprinted. 365 pages. No dust jacket. Red cloth boards with lettering. Clean pages with light tanning and mild foxing throughout. Pencil and pen markings to front pastedown and free endpaper. Moderate water staining to fore edges textblock. Binding remains firm. Boards have mild edge-wear with slight rubbing to surfaces and bumping to corners. Lettering is darkened. Moderate sunning to spine and edges with crushing to spine ends. Visible wear marks to boards.

First Pocket Book printing, mass market paperback, has a tiny skew to the binding, very slight bumps to spine ends and corners with a small crease to upper corner of front cover and first 50 pages, a thin reading crease to spine, and a touch of spotting to fore edge of first few pages, otherwise a solid, tight VG copy.
