Welcome to the Great Science-Fiction & Fantasy Works web site!
You have apparently come to this page from a link on a search engine or another site. If this is your first visit here, I much recommend that you take a few minutes to look over the introductory material accessible via the red “Introductory” zone of the Site Menu available from the “hamburger” icon in the upper right of this (and every) page. An understanding of the purposes and principles of organization of this site will, I hope and believe, much augment your experience here, for this page and in general. You can simply click this link to get at the site front page, which, unsurprisingly, is the best place to start. Thank you for visiting.Below are all 15 responses from AbeBooks:

158 pages. Hardback in the original black cloth binding. With the dustwrapper which is browned at the edges to the rear. The pages are browned throughout. Spotting to the end papers. Tips of the first two leaves are torn off, but just the very tips of the pages. Black ink line to the lower edge of the text block, presumably once a remainder.

158 p. 21 cm. Blue cloth in pictorial dustjacket. Front flap price clipped. Ink stamp on front endpaper. Some pages browning. The author himself wrote the introduction to his first short-story collection, explaining that most of these tales are "about the effects of stress on people." Some characters question their reality, another self-mutilates as entertainment, while others live in a city under seige. Great amusement in bite-sized chunks.

First UK Edition. Publisher's blue board with gilt vignette to the front board and gilt lettering to the spine. Pale- turquoise end-papers. Slight browning of pages from age; slight hint of edge dusting (not on face of pages); slight bumping at the head and tail of the spine and at the bottom left hand corner of the front board; overall a VG+ copy. The dustwrapper is complete with just the merest hint of corner edge creasing. A nice copy. Photographs/scans available upon request.
