1969. First Edition Thus. 155 pages. Paperback book with pictorial cover. Pages and binding are presentable with no major defects. Minor issues present such as mild cracking, inscriptions, inserts, light foxing, tanning and thumb marking. Overall a good condition item. Paper cover has mild edge-wear with light rubbing and creasing. Some light marking and tanning.

12mo., 176 pp. Lancer 74677. Cover art by Steele Savage. Very Near Fine with discrete name stamp on inside front cover and some age-toning to the inside covers and text block. Tight, clean and square.

Fourth printing from 1983. First published in paperback by Sphere in 1969. Originally published in the UK in hard covers by Faber in 1968. There is some fading to the spine with some light surface and edge wear. Slight browning to the white area of the back cover but otherwise the covers have only slight edge and surface wear. The pages are lightly browned with the trace of a price in pencil to the first page but they are otherwise unmarked. This edition has a new cover illustration by Peter Goodfellow. Postage charge will be reduced by £1.50 when the order is processed.

Slight wear and creasing at the edges and corners of dust jacket. Some minor stains to the dust jacket and tanning to the spine. Some minor marks to the front and back cloth boards. Otherwise binding is tight, pages are clean, a good second hand copy.

The boards have a little rubbing at the corners with a small dark mark at the top left corner of the rear panel. Page edges are browned with brown stains and spotting to the top edges and a few brown marks to the fore edges towards the bottom corners. Light trace of a price in pencil to the front free endpaper. The pages are a little browned but they are otherwise clean and unmarked. Jacket has some browning and patchy discolouration all over it and there is very slight chipping to the base of the spine. The reverse of the jacket is quite heavily browned. First printing.
