The first book of a trilogy. Andris Myrasol is heir presumptive to a petty kingdom who has just escaped from prison after a run-in with authority. He is offered great wealth to aid Fraxinus, a merchant, on a perilous expedition, while Lucretzia, a scholarly princess, is seeking secret knowledge. The book has been read, but is in excellent condition. Pages are intact and not marred by notes or highlighting. The spine remains undamaged.
