*1st printing of 1st edition* Square and well-bound with bright and uniform color. Interior toned with supple leaves. Name of previous owner appears twice on the preliminary pages. Bound dos-a-dos. Both cover images make a nice impression. However, exterior has some dings, some scuffs, some bends, some edgewear, and a little bit of loss at corners of backstrip. All in all, used- but- not-abused. This is the 1st printing of these novels in book form ( 1958) with ( 1952) present which indicates that Slaves of the Klau and (perhaps) Big Planet appeared in a different form in a magazine in the early 50's. Out to you w/tracking.

1st printing. Vance is one of my favorite authors. This slight novel about and Earthman trapped on a planet of slaves is an excellent example of his craftsmanship.

2nd pr. SIGNED by AUTHOR on the title page. Book is square, solid, and unread. In protective archival bag. Once this treasured tome from Tanjecterly has arrived at your stately manse of Trilda, you'll retire to the parlor and a light repast of wine and cheese, melon and water fowl, before focusing your attention on its many and varied excellences, composed, as it is, of sandestin stuff — hopefully Grofinet won't choose this moment for a spontaneous lecture on the Egyptian pyramids! NOTE: VERY light evidence of edgewear and age-toning, and the faintest start of some foxing.
