No author, adaptor nor translator is credited, so we'll go with the fabulous illustrator here. The illustrations are certainly the star of this dish. They include numerous plates and also small illustrations scattered throughout. The book is in excellent, collectible condition, with no tanning, foxing, or signs of prior use. The paper is toned to an attractive creamy ivory-beige. The jacket is intact, with light edgewear at the bottom and some more significant chipping along the top. It is now protected by a mylar Brodart cover. The book is not dated, but it is clearly identical to the George Harrap edition (and certainly printed at the same press in France) .
