With an introduction and notes by Martin Gardener, the editor of The Annotated Alice. "The orignal illustrations by Henry Holiday are reproduced directly from a rare early edition. A little faded on the spine, Apart from a few faint stamps and some damp spotting over the first few pages, it is generally near fine.

There is an Introduction by Adam Gopnik, and notes by Martin Gardner. It also Includes reproductions of the original illustrations by Henry Holliday, a frontispiece portrait of the author, a decorative title page, annotations throughout, and a bibliogrpahy of the editions of the book. This is a fine copy still in unopened and unread condition.
