This is the hardcover SFBC book club edition of the original Doubleday edition. Like the Doubleday publication it has "First Edition" on its copyright page. It also has the book club first printing code "11 I" (March 1967) on the bottom of page 187. This book is in near fine condition, marred only by light bumps on its spine ends. Its binding is sound and square, with no spine crease. Covers are unmarked and otherwise unworn. Pages are unmarked and unworn. Its dust jacket, now protected by a removable mylar cover, is in very good condition: whole and unmarked, with a 2" crease in its front bottom edge, light wear on the top of its spine, and some sun-toning on its spine and flap folds, but otherwise bright and unworn. I will ship this book in a moisture proof zip-loc bag, padded in bubble wrap, inside a sturdy box to assure it reaches its new owner in the same condition as my description.
