This is first complete version of what would become The Elfin Ship, which at that time was titled The Man in the Moon. It also contains an introduction by Tim Powers, long autobiographical introduction by James Blaylock, and the first Langdon St. Ives steampunk story, written more than 25 years ago, then sold to a magazine that folded before it could appear.

Contains the title novel (210 pages), which is the first complete version of what would later become (greatly changed and abridged) the author's first novel THE ELFIN SHIP, the previously unpublished short story ''The Hole In Space'': plus an introduction by Tim Powers and an autobiographical introduction by the author. LIMITED EDITION: 1026 copies printed (26 lettered) of which this is one of 1000 numbered copies printed, signed by both Blaylock and Powers. Fine copy in a fine dustjacket (as new).
