Some edge wear to top and bottom of jacket and spine, some slight yellowing to white parts of jacket and page block, faint crease to mid front jacket, top corners very slightly bruised, price clipped, no inscriptions, internally clean tight and square, overall a vg+ copy for its age. 125pp. Brilliantly clever sci fi short stories, replete with wonderful twists. A 2009 profile in The New York Times Magazine described sci fi and thriller writer Jack Vance (1916-2013), as 'one of American literature's most distinctive and undervalued voices'. He was also one of the creators of Ellery Queen. Quite a scarce book.
