No jacket. Black cloth with gilt spine titles, rubbed, bumped to extremities, with wrinkling over top margin of front panel near fore-edge corner. Spine slightly toned, gilt dulled and nearly illegible. Binding sound. Pages lightly tanned, browned to endpapers, and sparsely foxed to first and last few pages. Prior owner's name penned to top of FFEP. Interior else clean, text unmarked.

First edition. Octavo. Green cloth covered boards with black title to spine, in dust jacket. 208 pages. Publisher's device on title page. Boards lightly warped, upper corners a bit bumped, endpapers slightly darkened, in a dustjacket that is a bit dust-soiled and has small closed tears and tiny chips at the edges. A bit cocked with offsetting to the endpapers and ownername of Frank Borden, very good in good dustwrapper moderately rubbed with chips at the spine ends and tears at the extremities. Laid in is a letter from that references Bordern as a "friend of Lord Dunsany's and a student of his work."

Very good+ in clipped jacket. Very minor wear.

The front board is slightly splayed, there is minor offsetting on the endpapers and next inner page, the dust jacket is quite bright, is price-clipped (with new 6 / - price added near the clip), and has minor tears and edgewear.
