The Clock of Time (The Third Level)First UK paperback edition. First published in the UK by Eyre & Spottiswoode in hard covers in 1958. Contains all twelve of the stories originally published by Rinehart in the US in 1957 under the title The Third Level with the order of the first two stories reversed. Heavy reading creasing and edge rubbing to the spine and a reading crease down the right side of the back cover next to the spine but otherwise only light edge and surface wear to the covers. Browning to the edges of the pages. Bookshop stamp to the first page and there is browning to the pages which are otherwise generally unmarked. Cover art is uncredited - it was previously used on the cover of The Doom Stone by Cornell Woolrich, published in the US by Avon in 1960. First printing.
