Orange cloth hardcover boards are fade at the spine and along the top edges of the front and back. The front cover has a nice paste down title and author designation and appears original to the publication. Pages are tight and clean. 168 pages.

Dust jacket is good minus. DJ is missing large pieces from the rear upper portion, including some words. DJ has two small nicks to the front outer edge, chipping to the top spine end, other chips, and other edge wear. DJ spine is browned. DJ price has been torn away front flap fold. Splitting to the rear inner hinge has been reglued. Endpapers are partially browned.

Finney (December 1, 1905 - April 16, 1984) was an American fantasy novelist and newspaperman. His full name was Charles Grandison Finney, evidently after his great-grandfather, the evangelist Charles Grandison Finney. His first novel and most famous work, The Circus of Dr. Lao won one of the inaugural National Book Awards: the Most Original Book of 1935. The Unholy City was his second book. Very good.
