First edition. Illustrated by Carolyn Dinan. Fine in near fine price-clipped dust jacket with series of indentation on the front panel, only visible at an angle. A children's story by the British writer Nicholas Stuart Gray, who has recently been rediscovered with the help of Neil Gaiman who called him "one of the most brilliant children's authors of the 20th century." Nearly all of Gray's books are surprisingly difficult to find in the first edition and nice shape.
