Book appears lightly read, tight, square corners, very slight rounding to top and bottom of spine, First Printing stated, small stamp of a second hand store on ffep, black remainder strip on bottom of page block. Dustjacket (price intact at $4.95), shows light edgewear as well as a crease from top to bottom of front flap and part of a sticker still on the upper part of front flap, in removable mylar archival protector. Book shipped well packed in a box and USPS tracking number available if requested by buyer.

First edition. Original blue boards, near fine, in near fine dust jacket, price-clipped. Slight wear on top and bottom right corners of cover. In protective plastic cover, over-all a very nice copy. Remainder mark on bottom edges.

NOT a Remainder. Owner's penciled notes to rear free endpaper. The jacket appears to have been folded in thirds at one time. Flat now but with creases and several half-inch or less closed tears at crease ends (taped at underside). Original $4.95 price unclipped. Brodart cover. Stated First printing. Publisher's blue cloth, spine lettered silver. Pictorial dust jacket.

First edition 1st printing, Very Good book with light edge and corner wear, mild slant at bottom of spine, soft at spine ends, with touch of page edge soling; in a Good jacket with edge wear and several 1 to 2 inch closed tears along top edge and small closed tear bottom at spine, price clipped, crease top portin of back panel and some sun yellowing along edges of mostly white jacket. Fantasy with an alternate universe, but mainly a novel centered on a man seeking domestic bliss. Most copies of this title have been remaindered with a black slash to bottom page edges but this copy has NOT been.

Novel of an alternate universe. VG; two small white marks on the spine fold; overall wear to board edges; in slightly soiled/yellowed jacket.

A very nice copy of one of Finney's best. Book is fine with very faint erasure marks on upper corner of rear end paper (see photo). Beautiful dust jacket, in protective wrapper, is fine with $4.95 price intact. At 84, I am disposing of my personal 50+ year science fiction collection.

Octavo, cloth. First edition. A humorous parallel world fantasy. Finney's recurrent theme of a lost past or alternate now where life and love are somehow better is most fully realized in THE WOODROW WILSON DIME and TIME AND AGAIN (1970), the latter being perhaps his most important novel. His lost past themed 1950s stories influenced the work of Rod Serling, Richard Matheson and Stephen King ("The Ledge" is a homage to Finney's "Contents of the Dead Man's Pocket").
