175,000 word collection of twenty-four short stories: ten-page introduction by China Mieville and a four-page introduction from the author. Trade hardcover edition. Note: many of his stories from the 1960s and early 70s (including most, if not all those published in The Machine In Shaft Ten: Panther paperback original, 1975) are NOT included in this volume - the author, it seems, has no wish to see these early stories reprinted. LIMITED EDITION: 150 unnumbered copies signed by both authors on limitation page before the half-title page. This limited/signed edition came with a separate (unsigned) booklet, ''The Rio Brain'', limited to 150 copies, a short story written by Harrison with Simon Ings. HOWEVER THIS BOOKLET SIGNED BY BOTH HARRISON AND SIMON INGS. If interested in when and where they were signed (two SF Conventions in the UK) , signed by Harrison at Concussion 2006, Glasgow and signed by Ings at EightSquaredCon 2013, Bradford, Fine copy in a fine dustjacket (as new).
