1st ed/Later pr. Book is square, solid, and plausibly unread. No remainder marks. This book is so sharp it could slice even Superman's skin -- you'll shout up, up, and away with glee when it arrives at your door! NOTE: Light evidence of age-toning to the sides of the pages, and a very faint stress mark to the spine, indicating that it may have bene read, but if so, with the utmost care, as there are no other indications of such use.

"First published in Great Britain 1986" on its copyright page, and publisher's original "£15.00" price on its jacket's front flap. Per ISFDB, this Gollancz UK edition preceded the Atheneum US edition by one month, so is the true first edition (if it matters to you.) This book is in near fine condition, marred only by bumps on its spine ends. Its binding is sound and square, with no spine crease. Covers are unmarked and otherwise unworn, with bright gilt titles on its spine. Pages are unmarked and unworn. Its dust jacket, now protected by a removable mylar cover, is also in near fine condition: whole, bright, and unmarked, with some traces of edge wear, but otherwise unworn. I will ship this book in a moisture proof zip-loc bag, padded in bubble cushion, inside a sturdy box to assure it reaches its new owner in the same condition as my description.
