Stated first edition. Light shelf wear to the dust jacket. Small patches of rubbing to the head / tail of the dust jacket spine. Tiny patches of rubbing to the corners of the dust jacket. The boards show minimnal shelf wear. Light dust-staining to the top edge of the pages. The internal pages are clean and the binding is sound. A solid copy.

But then Markham, head of Pellucida Films, cons two of the original Mars spacemen out of retirement and promises them their dream of setting foot on the Red Planet. By the author of "Wyrldmaker". Mass market paperback; first printing as indicated by the complete number string 10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 on the copyright page, so presumed first edition, first printing thus. This is a used book. Pages are clean and bright with no markings, notes, or highlighting. Covers show only minor shelf wear and are not creased. No owner's marks or bookplates, not ex-library. Binding is tight and square. Hinges are secure. Price sticker on front cover. Corners not bumped. An excellent reading copy.

"First Edition" and full printing line with "1" on its copyright page. Signed (with no personalization or inscription) on its title page by author Terry Bisson in 2011 at the Locus Awards in Seattle. This book and its dust jacket are in near fine condition, marred only by very light bumps on spine ends. The book's binding is sound and square, with no spine crease. Covers are unmarked and otherwise unworn. Pages are unworn and -- other than the author's signature -- unmarked. Not a remainder. Its dust jacket, now protected by a removable mylar cover, is whole, bright, unmarked, and otherwise unworn. I will ship this book in a moisture proof zip-loc bag, padded in bubble wrap, inside a sturdy box to assure it reaches its new owner in the same condition as my description.
