Collects three long supernatural stories by each author: 258 pages. First published by Jonathan Cape in 1951, the first Tartarus Press printing was in 2011, with a new eight page introduction by R. B. Russell, followed by a 2nd Tartarus Press printing in 2016, and now this third printing in 2024. Fine copy in a fine dustjacket (as new).

Octavo. Bound in red linson boards, spine and front panel titled in gilt and silver, black endpapers, head-and tail-bands, red satin bookmark. Dust jacket Illustration by Stephen J. Clark. 258 pp. The first Tartarus printing was issued in 2011 and was limited to 350 copies; there was a second Tartarus Press Edition issued in 2016. This is the third Tartarus edition issued in 2024. A fine copy in a fine dust jacket, price corner intact. Collects six fantastic & supernatural stories.
